Adamantane-PEG-NHS is a bifunctional cross-linking agent that combines the rigid structural unit of adamantane with the excellent water solubility of the PEG segment. It can be used as an organic intermediate or pharmaceutical intermediate in bioconjugation reactions. The terminal NHS ester group can efficiently and specifically bind to amino groups, making it suitable for the construction of functional molecular assemblies and the surface modification of materials.
