Lipoamido-PEG-SCM is a multifunctional organic intermediate. Through the efficient coupling of lipoamide with polyethylene glycol (PEG), it can serve as a key cross-linking agent in bioconjugation reactions. The succinimidyl carboxymethyl (SCM) group at the molecular end imparts excellent reactivity, making it suitable for the site-specific modification of biomolecules such as proteins and polypeptides. Thanks to the hydrophilicity and steric hindrance effect of the PEG chain, this compound significantly enhances the water solubility and stability of the modified products.
