NHS-PEG-PtBAN-N-hydroxysuccinimide ester-polyethylene glycol-poly(tert-butyl acrylate) is a multifunctional organic intermediate. The NHS active ester in its structure can be efficiently coupled with poly(tert-butyl acrylate) (PtBAN) through a controlled polymerization reaction. This compound combines the water-solubility regulating ability of the PEG segment and the hydrophobic stability of PtBAN.
