OPSS-PEG-SS (o-Pyridyldithio/Thiopyridyl-Polyethylene Glycol-Succinimidyl Succinate) is a multifunctional organic intermediate with both efficient cross-linking properties and controlled release functions. The o-pyridyldisulfide bond in its molecule can break in response to a reducing environment. Combined with the excellent water solubility and biocompatibility of the PEG segment, it is widely used in the modification of polymer materials, the development of drug delivery systems, and the catalysis of bioconjugation reactions.
