P3/4HB-PEG is a block copolymer with an amphiphilic structure. As a high-performance organic intermediate and pharmaceutical intermediate, its unique polyester-polyethylene glycol composite system can optimize material compatibility and exhibit excellent phase transfer characteristics in the catalytic system. This compound realizes the programmable design of mechanical properties and degradation rate by precisely controlling the copolymerization ratio of 3-hydroxybutyrate and 4-hydroxybutyrate.
