PAE-SS-PEG-NHS is a multifunctional organic intermediate that dynamically connects the polyamide epichlorohydrin resin (PAE) with the polyethylene glycol (PEG) segment through a disulfide bond (SS). The N-hydroxysuccinimide ester (NHS) modified at the end imparts high coupling ability to it. This compound has both environmentally responsive cleavage and biocompatibility, and is suitable for the synthesis of polymer materials, the preparation of nanocarriers, and the construction of catalytic systems.
