The 16th National Symposium on Organic Synthetic Chemistry of the Chinese Chemical Society is scheduled to be held from August 8 to 11, 2019 in Kaifeng, Henan Province, China. This meeting is organized by the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS), the Chinese Chemical Society Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, Henan University, and Henan Provincial Chemical Society.

The theme of the conference is Frontiers of Organic Synthesis Chemistry and Functional Molecule Construction. The conference will mainly focus on the following four aspects: 1.

1. New concepts, methods and strategies in the development of organic synthetic chemistry; 2.

2. The latest achievements and progress of organic synthetic chemistry in new drug discovery and natural product synthesis; and

3. The latest progress of organic synthetic chemistry in the construction and application of functional organic molecules.

4. Application of organic synthetic chemistry in metal organic chemistry and polymer synthesis.

This symposium is a high-level academic exchange meeting to strengthen academic exchanges, increase opportunities for cooperation and deepen friendship among peers in the field of organic synthetic chemistry in China. The organizing committee of the conference will invite the first-line scientists, well-known experts and experts in the field of organic synthesis in China to attend the conference.
